The Arizona Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence (ACESDV) is the designated dual issue coalition in Arizona addressing both sexual and domestic violence for over 30 years. Our purpose is to increase public awareness about the issues of sexual and domestic violence, enhance the safety of and services for sexual and domestic violence victims and survivors, and end sexual and domestic violence in Arizona communities. We do this by providing education and training, technical assistance, advocacy at the legislature in public policy, and assistance to survivors and advocates through our Legal Advocacy Hotline.
Legal Advocacy Hotline: 602-279-2900 or 800-782-6400
Address: 2800 N. Central Ave. Suite 1570 Phoenix, AZ 85004
The Legal Advocacy Hotline offers direct services by answering questions and providing information about navigating the legal system and understanding you rights and by offering resources, referrals, and safety planning.
The Legal Advocacy Hotline serves:
- Survivors of sexual and domestic violence
- Concerned friends, family members, colleagues, neighbors, and others who are calling on behalf of a potential victim or survivor
- Professionals working with survivors, such as case managers, advocates, attorneys, medical personnel, teachers, counselors, and law enforcement
Arizona is proud to be the first state to participate in Start by Believing, a public awareness campaign to change the way we respond to rape and sexual assault in our communities. You can read more about this honor here.
